Jason Cervenak
Legislative Fellow, Office of Congressman Bob Goodlatte
Jason Cervenak currently serves as a Legislative Fellow for Congressman Bob Goodlatte (VA-6). In that capacity he advises the Congressman on matters related to crime, law enforcement, cybersecurity, immigration, privacy issues, and constitutional law. He is on detail from the Department of Justice's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives' Legislative Affairs Division. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, he was Deputy Chief of staff for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Jason has also served as a counsel for three years on the House Judiciary Committee and for three years on the House Science Committee. Earlier in his career, Jason was the Director of Intellectual Property and Industrial Security for Aerospace Industries Association. He received his BA from James Madison University and his JD from the College of William and Mary School of Law.
