Everton Lucero

Born in Sao Borja, RS, Brazil, on 26 April 1967. Career diplomat, he joined the Brazilian Foreign Service in 1992. He served at the Brazilian Embassies in Singapore (1995-97) and Vienna (1997-2001). At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served as Assistant to the Press Secretary (1992), assistant to the Head of the Environment Division (1994-95) and Deputy Head of the Disarmament and Sensitive Technologies Division (2001-2003). From 2003 to 2005, he worked at the International Advisory Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT), being, until September 2005, the Chief International Advisor to the Minister. He currently holds the position of Head of the Science and Technology Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
